Round I over at Game-Art-HQ!!!! I almost didn't make it in time >_>
Yes, you heard me right, Link's Friendlist Totally the same as Link's Blacklist, but this time with his friends haha
Right right, now, as to why I chose Skyward Sword Impa for this round it's because I really liked her as a characterand because she's badass But no seriously Impa is so cool in Skyward Sword. She's totally devoted to Zelda and protects her throughout the game, and totally isn't afraid to call link out when he's wrong.
"Do my words anger you , boy? Do my words sting? Let them. If I had not come when I did, your Zelda would have already fallen into the hands of the enemy."
She's so devoted to Zelda, she even stands guard over her for 1,000 years while she sleeps!! (oops spoiler - but honestly it's been like two years now since the game came out, so spoilers are fair game at this point ;D) All in all, Impa is one cool Sheikah.

Originality Technique ImpactI thought I'd offer a critique on this since 1) this piece is really deserving of a critique and 2) not enough people get a critique when requested.
Overall, this is quite a stunning piece! I daresay, it's probably my new favourite piece of yours. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/> The overall effect has quite the impact. I really love the mix of colours going on here, from the cool dark tones to the warm bright tones. I would say that the colours are in perfect harmony here. Furthermore, I think it's really interesting that you alternated colours with the outlines surrounding them, it somehow adds a "whimsical" feel to the piece. The added soft glows and particles of light really help emphasize that whimsy too! One thing I really love about the artwork is how you kept a large amount of proportions in tact, for instance, I would say you drew the spike on the elderly Impa's cape/ hat thing at the perfect height relative to her body! I really love the attention to details too, like in the older Impa's "pendulum braid" and in their clothing overall.On the critical side of things, in terms of proportions, I would say that the younger Impa looks a bit too tall compared to her older self, although I'd have to check the game to see how proportionate they are to each other. One thing that was perhaps needed was a few more wrinkles (possibly around the mouth area) to indicate a bit more age in the older Impa.
Other than those two things mentioned (which neither of them take away from the piece), I'd say this piece is extremely successful! You should be proud Neko, this piece is truly wonderful!
